Summer in Ivye chronicles the remarkable story of the transformation of a rural ex-Soviet village after the arrival of an international theater troupe. The film follows Tamar Rogoff’’s personal journey to Eastern Europe, where she decides to stage a large production in the middle of the Ivye forest, bringing together professional actors with local townspeople. With camera by Hanania Baer and Harvey Wang, and music by Frank London.
